THE STORY OF OUR HOME

Maison IMZAD was founded in 2024, but its history goes back much further, rooted in the culinary heritage of its founders.

I'm Boutheina, and I'm going to tell you how my husband Amine and I decided to create Maison IMZAD. Born into a family passionate about cooking and baking, I grew up surrounded by celebrations and gourmet preparations. As the eldest, I always helped my mother make Algerian pastries, an art where each piece is treated like a jewel. Everything was handmade, meticulously decorated, with a demand for perfection that taught me to respect this heritage.

The long nights spent making these treats were more than just work: they were moments of sharing, laughter, and pride. The next day, the reward was there: magnificent pastries ready to be given and enjoyed. From a very young age, I began exploring this world on my own, by leafing through my mother's cookbooks.

A PASSION FOR EXCELLENCE

When I arrived in France, between my studies and work, I had to put this passion on hold. Over time, I became more mindful of healthy eating and sought authentic Algerian pastries, with reduced sugar, no artificial colors or preservatives, no fondant icing, and presented in elegant boxes. Finding nothing that met my expectations, I decided to create IMZAD.

My husband joined me on this adventure, and together we poured our hearts and high standards into every detail. Our ambition: to offer refined, healthier Algerian pastries, beautifully presented in luxurious boxes, to combine tradition with sophistication.
